List your house on a MLS that will post on Realtor.com. Many flat-fee agencies are able to place your home on multiple sites. If your house hasn't sold within a reasonable period of time (depending on your market area), contact a reputable Realtor to find out what they feel they can do to increase your salability, If the Realtor wants your listing, ask them to reduce their fee by the amount you had to spend on the MLS listing. You're not out anything.
