| I have put on my listing that I would give a buyers agent 1 %. I was wondering if agents would accept that or should I just not work with a buyers agent since I can not afford to give more than that?

When selling FSBO you should always keep your window of opportunity open. By adding the 1% buyers commission you are targeting a larger group of interested parties which increases your response rate.

For 1%, you more then likely will not increase your traffic. Typical is anywhere from 2%-5%.

| WE STARTED AT 2% THEN WENT TO 2.5% NOW AT 3%. STILL NO ACTION. IT IS HARD TO BELIEVE THAT REALTORS WOULD RATHER SELL NOTHING THAN TAKE A SMALLER COMMISSION, WE ARE BAFFLED AT THIS.

there are too many listed houses available for a realtor to call on fsbos, and hope the fsbo will be fair with a commission. when the house is listed, the commission in guaranteed and in writing, also very easily accessible to the realtor on the mls.
