A potential buyer came through our home twice. On the last visit, he was accompanied by his parents. Everyone really liked our home. The buyer made a low-ball offer and we countered. He did not say "I accept that price" but as he was leaving he told us how much he liked the house and was really interested. This was on Sunday. He also told us that he had not spoken to a lender yet and planned to do that on Tuesday. He has a well-paying job so I don't think getting a loan will be a problem.
We have not heard from him yet and today is Thursday. Should we consider this a lost deal?

| Hello- I suggest you continue advertising your home and taking in any new offers as strongly as you would before. If the interested party returns with an offer you agree with then great, if not I suggest moving on. Some interested buyers move quickly and others take their time because it is a big step they are taking and they want to be sure. Hope everything works out. -FSBO Guru Owners.com
