Buyers can come from any source:  sign, newspaper ad, website listing, friend/neighbor, real estate agent.

We had a buyer's agent contact us. The buyer saw the ad on owners.com and wanted to see the house.

We listed the house on the MLS through Homeowners.com and the buyers agent contacted us to show the house. They saw it and made and offer that day.

Our buyer saw our open house sign and stopped by. We held an open house every Sat & Sun until we moved out--then every Sunday. Signs drew more prospects to our home than ads in the newspaper, which were quite expensive. We stopped advertising long ago and just depended on buyers drawn to the neighborhood by the many homes for sale.
Took almost a year to sell, but many properties in the area (Brunswick, OH) are languishing on the market--many listed with realtors.
Our buyer signed a concurrency agreement several months ago while waiting for their home to sell. (with the concurrency we were able to continue to market with the buyer having a 72 hour opportunity to perform if we had another offer)
Altogether, selling FSBO was a very interesting experience. We had been in our home for 34 years and felt quite comfortable marketing it ourselves--was a labor of love.

We put out your sign on Friday, called our Prayer partners, prayed and Saturday a couple from out of town who were here to find a house, apply for work etc. drove by our house, called us, we showed them inside, shook hands that we had a deal for the amount we were asking. Monday the contract for sale & purchase was signed at the title office and she has the job she wanted, and they have been pre-approved for the loan they need!

Yes, we did sell to a buyer without an agent being involved; the buyer turned out to be the son of the couple from whom I purchased the house 18 years ago. His wife saw it on your web site and called us. He was 9 years old when I bought the house from his parents and now he will be living in his childhood home . . . . how cool is that!

The buyers saw our home on Owners.com and called the next day, followed by an offer the following day. It was the website on Owners.com that sold the house.

It was a very good experience........buyers saw house within 24 hours of sign going on the lawn. He never waivered, saw only 1 time, had foundation problem and a slab leak as a result of foundation repairs. Had a 3 month out closing and again, they never waivered and never looked at the house again.........amazing.
