I sold my home in two months. Owners. com helped us sell our house
The buyer came from the yard sign. I was close to a main street with lots of traffic. I place the sign close to the street and I had a lot of people calling and getting my flyers. I didn't use a realtor or MLS to sell my home. I just used online services, yard sign and the paper. A lot of realtors called and bought buyer by, but was no help in selling my home.
Flyers were important too. I couldn't keep it (holder) filled fast enough!

I work at a newspaper so I was able to advertise my home for sale free.
We received excellent response because of the newspaper ad so we never had to put a sign in the yard.
It was nice for readers to be able to go to your website to view the property. I had web addresses for your site and for infotube.net in the ad. Between the 2 sites we had over 1000 page views and 3 contracts within the first few days. At that time I stopped showing the property, but had dozens of interested buyers. The newspaper ad was placed August 1st and we closed on September 20th.

First time doing FSBO, but I really think what helped here is not just the sign IN the yard, but directional signs pointing to the house, from the main road, then onto our road. We used 2 directional signs.
Flyers were VERY important. On the first day it was out, we had at least 15 or 20 taken out of the "info tube" so we quickly realized we'd need more copies. We kept up with those every day.. had to print more, etc.
Have at least 50 of these onhand.
It took us a week and a half to sell. We are very fortunate!

I sold my home in just 11 days by myself with just 2 ads in the local paper. Consider me LUCKY !!!!
