I have an office space of 1200 sq. feet’s on first floor of a building in New York. I need help to sell it and get the best deal possible. Can you name any community of portal where I can put my property for sale? Thanks a lot!

Well there are many websites where you can contact real estate agents, property seekers, lawyers and documenters. But I recently came up with an online real estate community suitable for your purpose. You can advertise about your property and then deal accordingly. Go for the commercial properties section at http://www.corporatehousingbyowner.com Corporate Apartments . I hope this will help you.

While the original post is dated last year it's still quite relevant. I have a home and lot that is located in a heavy commercial district in the village of Essex Junction, Vermont. I'm selling it myself this year and there is a wealth of places to advertise FSBO listings. List with a print publication for starters. Use a search engine to search real estate websites that will accept your listing for free (there are many) and post there. Search for free classified ad websites (Craig's List and Kijiji come to mind) and post there as well. Build your own website for your property like I did (my property has 5 different ones!) or hire someone to do it inexpensively and optimize that site for the search engines on a regular basis.

If you're going to sell property yourself you must be prepared to put forth more effort than any agency would for you otherwise what is the point. In this buyers market a property will not sell itself with just a sign stuck in the ground (as a realtor stupidly told me last year).
