If you're selling your home or business without a realtor it is up to you to get the word out and advertise your property every place you can. If you're just sitting back and waiting you're wasting valuable time you could be spending promoting your property. Advertising your property doesn't have to cost much if anything. Try these sure-fire winners:
1. Build a website for your property - include photos, details, maps on how to get there, regional information, and tips on moving.
2. Make flyers to give out to those driving by (use a container attached to or near the for sale sign) and to give out to those you show the property to
3. Print business cards with a picture of your house, the address, and the website url of your home. Give these out at every opportunity and post them on bulletin boards when you get the chance.
4. If you're willing to pay a reduced commission to an agent for bringing you a buyer then send your flyer and some cards to all the local real estate offices.
