I just finished painting the inside of my two upstairs closets today and removing half the clothes. It's a thankless job, I know. I used the brightest, high gloss, white paint I could get my hands on. Interesting that I've wanted to do this since I bought the place and only now, 8 years later when I'm selling it, does it finally get done. Why now? Because now it matters more than ever what those closets look like and how big (or small) they really are.
My thinking is this -- When a prospective buyer opens that closet door I want them to see such brightness and space that they'll think it's their future that's shining so brightly!
It worked on the last house I sold and I'm betting it will help with this one as well.
Closets matter.
