I am listed on MLS at 419K with a 2.5% commission to the buyers agent. I am also offering a $1000 Bonus to the buyers agent upon successful closing of the property. Does this help with getting agents to show the house?? Any other ideas please share.
Thanks,
Keith W.

Is 2.5% "the norm" in your area? If not, bump it up to 3% AND leave the bonus! It can't hurt...

Chris

I had a house on the market for a long time and got VERY frustrated with my real estate agent, the market, the abundance of foreclosures, the lack of activity, the lack of buyers, the dog....so I had to take matters into my own hands. I agree, 3% is the norm in my area. I've already priced my house below the competition, but I can't afford an additional 3%. I'm only offering 2%.

Good Luck!!!
