Hi everyone, I have a property left vacant near my house and I do not want to sell that. I have been wanting to keep a tenant (there have been offers lately) but my decision has taken a back seat when I heard about a relative of mine being duped by his tenants and getting wrong on the law side. I know that there are precautions you can take to avoid bad tenants……just drop me a few suggestions or tips to help me keep a good tenant.

Any suggestions would be appreciated (not the unusual ones).

One of the most important things in keeping a tenant is to make sure that they have a good record on the law side and does not hold bad credit. There can be enquiries made from the employer or from the previous land lord of the tenant. Recently, I came across a good source on that had some useful information for owners like you and had heard a hilarious audio on a prospective tenant which was a real funny one. So, enjoy the audio and hope that you find the necessary stuff on tenants.

While giving our place to someone on rent we need to do some verifications, like we need to take their ID proof, residential proof. If the person is working some where then take his or her employer details or employee ID. The best way to consult your area real estate agents and you can do it online too.
