I am a licensed Real Estate professional in the state of Florida (Tampa Bay Area). Unlike most realtors (NOT ALL) I am not in this industry to make a whole lot of money. I started in Real estate because I like to help people achieve their dreams. I help for sale by owners all the time sell their homes. I don't list it for them, but guide them and give them advise on what to do. Most FSBO's don't have the time to deal with selling their homes, and that is where most of them fail and end up listing with a Realtor. Being a realtor is a 24/7 job. That is all we do. Most FSBO's have other jobs and thier familys, which leaves them very little time to market their homes. Unfortunatly most realtors won't show their buyers FSBO homes because they make no money off of it. Again they are in it for the money, not in it for their clients best interest. I show my buyers every home that is available in the market. I have even helped buyers find homes and got NO commission on it at all. But I walked away with a happy heart knowing I did the right thing for my client. In the long run my hard work paid off because that client refered me to one of their family members and I helped them find a home as well and earned a commission. Again with me its not about the money but making my clients happy.
