You can hire a real estate attorney to take care of the escrow or closing, or you can do it yourself.
If you do it yourself, you need to take the following items to a title company:
signed purchase agreement
deposit check
contact information for both buyer and seller
termite report information
financing information
projected close date
There may be other state-specific documents that are required. Your local title company should be able to offer assistance in this area. They are usually quite helpful in terms of guiding you through the process.

| The buyer’s agent did most of it and there was obviously a closing attorney who did the rest.
